This Week in Class...
Math - We will review our fraction concepts and learn more about subtracting fractions. We will have our mid-chapter checkpoint this week!
Reading - We will continue preparing for PEAKS testing and learning how to use the tools for testing.
Writing - We are going to be learning about different figures of speech. This week we will learn about similes.
Spelling - There is NO spelling this week. We will have a regular spelling week next week. Homework will go home this Friday.
Social Studies - We are going to review the Inca and move on to the Maya.
Science - We will examine different types of soil and leanr about porosity.

Variety Show...
March 30th. We will be singing! Please donate items to our "Weekend Fun" fundraiser basket as soon as possible.
Healthy Snacks...
Please send healhty snacks to school each day. Kids get hungry and appreciate a good snack.
Winter Gear...
It is going to be crazy weather with smowing and melting. Please make sure kids are still bringing the appropriate gear to school every day. Thanks!
