Week od February 26th, 2018

This Week in Class... 

Math - We are finishing chapter 6 this week. Our test is on Wednesday. 

Reading - We are finishing our Shiloh projects and presenting this week. 

Writing - We are working to finish our personal narratives. 

Spelling - It is a normal spelling week this week. 

Social Studies - We will be doing an olympian profile and begin finishing our olympic lapbooks. 

Read Across America Day...
This Friday! Kids can wear pajamas, bring a stuffed animal and books. We will have a muffin breakfast and have a fun-filled day. 

Healthy Snacks...
Please bring in healthy snacks for your child each day. School provides a veggie/fruit snack only once or twice a week and kids are hungry each afternoon. Thanks! 

Supplies Needed...
We are in need of scissors! If you are able to donate some, we would appreciate it! 

3rd Quarter is coming to a close... 
Spring break is the week of March 11th.

This week in class...

Math - We will continue learning about fractions this week. 

Reading - We will begin working on our diorama projects this week. 

Writing - We will continue writing our personal narratives and begin the peer edit process. 

Spelling - This is a regular spelling week. Homework is due Friday morning. Test is Friday afternoon. 

Social Studies - We are continuing to learn about the Winter Olympics. 

Field Trip! 
Our next field trip will be in March! We will see Step Afrika at the performing arts center. Permission Slips and payment are due THIS WEDNESDAY! So sorry for the late notice!
